Sarcoma Awareness Campaign in Sofia Subway Stations – July 2024
To mark Sarcoma Awareness Month, the Sarcomafree Foundation is launching its first public awareness campaign across Sofia’s subway stations. This initiative aims to educate the public about sarcoma—a rare but aggressive type of cancer that often lacks early detection and awareness.
The poster campaign intends to shine a spotlight on the unique challenges associated with sarcoma. Because sarcoma symptoms are often mistaken for less serious conditions, patients face delayed diagnoses, leading to limited treatment options and lower survival rates. Raising awareness is crucial to improving early detection and encouraging research for better treatment options.
